Lucerna; directly translated from Latin meaning “Lantern.” Modeled after historical Mogul Khanjars. Was inspired by the cusp of Summertime and the beautiful nights that come with it. This dagger was created to tell a story of a wanderer of the night.
With the theme of both light and dark, resembling the divine feminine and the divine masculine being complimentary to one another. This piece more or less puts emphasis on the divine feminine, described with the feathered explosion pattern, pin inlays as well as the lantern shaped bolster as being the “light.” Keeping us grounded and directing our focus to stay on the path that will always lead us to the greatest places.
